Greg's Super Power

1951 White

Greg's bus takes honors at the top of the menu on the bus page because without him, much of what you see on this site would not be possible. Greg collected photos of trucks and buses tirelessly in the late 1970's and early 80's, and was generous enough to share them with all of us with no thought of reward. If Sharks wore hats, ours would be off to him!

Nested alongside his house, Greg's White
provides a private get-away space for the
occasional needed quiet moment.

Like many of the buses on these pages, this bus has been under construction for many years. Here it is before the second roof-raising, when the living room roof was the stock bus shell raised about six inches.

The second story addition is the bedroom, and has remained much the same through the changes to the front of the bus.

A high-altitude deck to help stand above the crowd has double doors that open into the bed room. An air conditioner is now mounted between the diagonal braces that hold up the overhang.

The rear section holds the shop and storage area, along with the marine toilet.

This photo had to be composed carefully, as
Greg didn't want to clean house so I could
show more of the interior.

The kitchen, with the ladder leading to the
second story. To the right, out of the frame, is
the refrigerator. The sink is opposite the stove.

Backyard stealth bus.
